The Poole Dick academy
Our Poole Dick training Academy was established as part of our commitment to investing in our employees and apprentices, and their professional development. It combines the technical aspects of people’s professional development, alongside a focus on wellbeing and life skills.
A unique blend of expertise and professionalism in ISO/RICS technical training by senior employees is mixed with learnings around sustainability, finance, health, wellbeing and other skills such as ‘Appropriate Assertiveness in EA Roles’, ‘Delivering Teams Meetings and ‘Time Management’ etc.
Personal Development
We invest in our people and are here to support them through all aspects of their professional development and training.
As well as helping them become construction experts, we want them to grow into confident, well rounded professionals who can make a positive difference in our industry. That’s why we also emphasise the importance of skills such as persuasion, negotiation, emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt to different situations.

Training and cpd
We actively encourage professional development for all people at all levels and are happy to pay professional subscription and qualification fees to help further your career.
We run a structured program of CPD and training sessions for all staff and attendance is recorded on everyone’s personal training record.
