The works included the construction of a 1,600m2 multi sports hall, climbing wall and gymnasium together with changing facilities and external viewing balcony to ‘all weather’ sports pitch.
Key Considerations
The project also included 36 one and two bedroom apartments and the extension and refurbishment of the existing ground and first floors of the multi storey accommodation block to provide library, information technology and gaming suites for residents together with housing support office accommodation and a ‘spiritual’ core.
Results
The sports and learning/office accommodation achieved BREEAM ‘Very Good’ accreditation.
