Refurbishment and MaintenanceThe Challenge
We undertake Quantity Surveying on the planned maintenance works on Rochdale Borough Housing’s existing housing stock. The works undertaken are re-roofing, pointing, electrical rewires, boiler replacements and fire door replacements, as well as offering contractual advice to the surveyors when needed.
We also monitor the master cashflow for RBH to advise whether the spend for the projects is in line with the budgets for the year.
Key Considerations
This includes working on numerous properties which have residents in situ and undertaking component works such as electrical rewires, boiler replacements and re-roofing works. We also undertake replacement kitchen and bathroom works, painting and environmental works.
The Outcome
We work with the client to agree the interim valuations/final accounts and monitor the clients internal budget.
Results
The properties are constantly upgraded to a high standard with the refurbishment works we undertake. This ensures that Rochdale Borough Housing’s properties are maintained to a high standard, within the Rochdale area of their existing stock.
