The Challenge

A design and build contract to undertake a Category B fit-out to form Swinton’s UK headquarters. The development spanned over four floors with a Contact Centre and offices, including reception, café, rest/break out areas, post facilities and other ancillary areas. The client added a further 2 floors as a variation during the works, which added £2.6m into the contract. Category A fit out fabric and M&E had to be adapted to suit Swinton’s requirements and space needs.

Key Considerations

A full Category B fit out was undertaken in just 6 months. A comprehensive defects list and analysis of the original build was also undertaken, to set off costs against the required works.
