BEng (Hons) MBA
Adam graduated as a Civil Engineer from Loughborough University in 1990 and spent the first 10 years of his career in contracting, working on major infrastructure and building projects around the UK.
In 2001 Adam graduated with an MBA from Manchester Business School and joined a telecoms company developing data centres in the UK and Europe for several years before establishing himself as a Consultant Project and Programme Manager.
Adam has a keen interest in Sustainability and Lean Construction techniques and has completed his own development projects using Modern Methods of Construction and sustainable technologies. Since joining Poole Dick in 2020, Adam has been involved with the refurbishment of large residential buildings and tower blocks with a particular focus on resolving legacy fire protection issues.
Outside of Work
Adam is married with three boys and lives near Knutsford. Adam managed the construction of the family home on a rural plot in 2010 and since then, is constantly adding and tinkering with systems to drive energy efficiency in the home, much to the consternation of his wife!
He enjoys the country life with spare time spent watching the boys play rugby, growing veg and looking after his various pets including two Kunekune pigs.
